It is the mission of Space Coast Kids to provide help for families in need in Brevard County. We offer services throughout the year to help local families in need. We offer birthday packages which include a professionally made cake, with a toy or trinket in the theme of their choice. We also offer Newborn Baby Packages for new moms which include a package of essentials such as diapers, an outfit, bottles, samples, or whatever other baby items we have available based on gender, and the needs of the mother and baby. Another one of our year round services is our food bank. Families in need can contact us, and we will supply them with a bag of food based on allergies, and the needs of the family.
We have special events throughout the year where we provide for local families and Children so they do not have to go without for what should be special times of the year for them. We start out the New Year with our Easter Basket event. Each year we throw an Easter picnic event where Mr. & Mrs. Bunny come to visit and brings each child an Easter Basket. The Easter event includes a pot luck dinner, a raffle, and egg hunt. Before school starts we run a back to School Backpack Drive, in which we supply 50-100 Backpacks filled with the basic supplies needed for Children to go back to school. For Halloween we run a Costume drive where we supply 50-100 costumes for children. Around Thanksgiving time we are able to help 50-100 families with food baskets filled with a turkey and basics you need to provide a family a nice Thanksgiving dinner. Each year at Christmas time we throw a Dinner where Mr. & Mrs. Claus comes to visit and brings each child a gift. The Christmas event includes a potluck dinner and a raffle where participants can earn raffle tickets by paying it forward and donate items towards any of our services.
So far our services are funded by donations of items, and by the volunteers paying out of pocket themselves. We could do so much more with your support. Please help us, help our community.
